The "Your cart has been updated and the items you added can’t be shipped to your address." Shopify error can be fixed in the following ways:
- Make sure that you have shipping rates setup for all locations that you have set up on Shopify. If a customer orders a product and that product is being sourced from location X, and location X does not have any shipping rates attached to it, you will see this error. So, one simple way to fix this is to update your locations to make sure that each of your locations has a shipping rate attached to it.
- Make sure that all the products are being sourced from an inventory location that has a shipping rate attached to it.
- Sometimes this could occur if the system cannot find a shipping method for the selected products. E.g. If the buyer is buying a large quantity of products. Make sure that you have any quantities of the product in order to fulfil the sale.
- Lastly, try assigning fulfilment methods to all your products. You need to go to your fulfilment section and add follow this article to make sure your fulfilment is set up correctly.
